Gentle Hatha Yoga at the Body Mind Spirit Center places a priority on laughter and a light atmosphere – while learning basic as well as more advanced poses. Students are encouraged to play with the poses, to discover how each posture fits their own bodies and abilities. A significant amount of class time is dedicated to warming up for each session and performing range-of-motion exercises to prepare the body for the postures. Proper breath work is highlighted.

Priya yoga is a unique style of yoga that provides the framework for deep exploration and release of long-held tension and stress. The focus on breath and grounding in each yoga asana allows muscles to unwind and joints to open, freeing the body for a joyful expression of flow and grace.
